Hello Johnny’s Selected Seeds team!

Being born and raised on a small organic farm in Maine, I grew up hearing about and working with a variety of your seeds. Quality and reliability have always been associated with the Johnny’s name and I am excited to present you with a media proposal to further awareness around the dedication your team puts into testing and developing the seeds and tools you sell. It would be an honor to work with you on this project.

Concept

This project aims to produce a captivating short film that offers an intimate look into the research farm where Johnny's Selected Seeds tests and develops their exceptional products. The film will showcase the deep passion, dedication, and meticulous work that goes into every step of the seed development process. Through stunning visuals capturing the farm and the intricate processes involved, combined with insightful interviews featuring the farmers and scientists working on the research farm, the film will provide a genuine and personal touch. Its primary purpose is to serve as a compelling marketing tool, effectively conveying the story and values of Johnny's Selected Seeds to a wide audience.

The film will feature breathtaking shots of the research farm, highlighting the vast fields, vibrant crops, and the natural beauty that surrounds the agricultural landscape. These visuals will serve not only to captivate viewers but also to demonstrate the profound connection between the land and the seeds being cultivated. By showcasing the entire process—from seed testing and experimentation to crop growth and harvest—the film will provide a comprehensive overview of the dedication and expertise invested in every Johnny's Selected Seeds product.

Deliverables

Our small and skilled production team will create a media package that can be used in a variety of marketing, educational and social media uses.

3-5 minute educational film diving into the workings of the Research farm, what makes it important and separates Johnny’s from any other seed provider. With stunning visuals and interviews with the dedicated and passionate the team that works the farm, this film will add a personal and human touch to the behind the scenes workings of Johnny’s.

In addition to the longer form film we will create a handful of shorter form video pieces specifically tailored for social media use. For each person interviewed in the longer film, we will create a short employee highlight video. Diving into what drives the passion behind each individual, with visuals of them working and beautiful interview setups these short pieces will separate themselves from the longer piece by focusing more on the passion behind each employee.

Our skilled photographer will work closely with the video team creating imagery that shows everything from the expansive beauty of the research farm, to the macro of the seed testing, and engaging portraits of the scientists and farmers.
